Job Summary

As a part of our continued expansion, Targray requires the services of a Senior Battery Sales Engineer, to join our Battery Team based at our India Office Gurgaon, Haryana.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on all global developments with Li Ion Battery (Solid State, Li Su…) materials, cells, modules, next Gen materials
  • Join technical associations, attend industry conferences, trade shows
  • Advise Battery Sales Team on technical matters regarding customer accounts
  • Actively participate in Sales process when required
  • Accompany Sales team members in Canada, Europe and India when required during customer phone calls, online meetings, possibly site visits
  • Work closely with material and cell / module suppliers, meet with suppliers when required, travel would be required
  • Suggest new business development ventures where our company can add value
  • Assist Marketing with web site Battery content

Requirements

  • An Engineering Degree and background, experience, knowledge of Lithium Ion Batteries is most important
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • The candidate should have experience in working with battery materials
  • Needs to have understanding of Batteries, in particular Li-ion cells, packs
  • Knowledge and understanding of all major Li-ion cell chemistry
  • Understanding of the Sales Qualification process for new materials
  • Interpersonal skills, to accompany Sales Team in Customer visits
  • Communicate with material manufacturers, manage specifications
  • Knowledge of Electric Vehicle Battery, 2 wheeler, etc
